The United States Federation of Pankration Athlima

An Olympic Sport, 648 B.C. thue 394 A.D., Pankration predates the oriental martial arts by 2,200 years, and as first introduced into the Olympic Games in 648B.C. It was in the Olympic Games for 1,042 years. Pankration as the first Mixed Martial Art. It combined strikes, kicks, and submission grappling much like today's Karate, combat level Jui-Jitsu and Wrestling.

Today's modern Pankration has combined the techniques from all effective Martial Arts to form a safe realistic sport that is practiced by men, women and children. The 2000 World Championships held in Greece established the U.S.A Federation of Pankration Athlima as the world leader. Team USA leads the world in Gold medals and won more medals overall than any other nation.
