- On September 25, 2004, Mr. Serrano was inducted into the Legion of Honor Hall of Fame Society. Other past inductees include legends such as Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Funio Demura, Jeff Smith, Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, Jhoon Rhee, Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, Ed Parker.
- On September 7, 2003, Mr. Serrano took the SILVER MEDAL in the MEN's -100 Kilo Fighting Division at the Pankration World Championships held in Greece and was the UNITED STATES TEAM CHIEF COACH.
- On January 18, 2003, Mr. Serrano was inducted into the ACTION MARTIAL ARTS HALL OF FAME at the Annual Awards Banquet held in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
- On November 9, 2002, Mr. Serrano took the GOLD MEDAL in Men's Heavyweight Fighting as a member of Team USA in Perth, Scotland. Mr. Serrano also won a Bronze Medal as a member of the 10-person US Team in the Team FightIng Competition.
- In addition, his students brought home 3 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, 5 Bronze Medals and a Fourth Place in Scotland as part of the US Team.
- Inducted into American Karate Association Hall of Fame in 2002
July 4th, 2002, Mr. Serrano took the Bronze Medal in Full Contact Stick Fighting at the WEKAF Escrima World Championships held in London, England
- In November 2001, at the 2001 Pan-American Marital Arts & Pankration Games, Mr. Serrano brought home for the US Team a GOLD Medal for the Men's Heavyweight Pankration Fighting Division, 2nd Place in Heavyweight Karate Fighting, a 3rd Place in Men's Black Belt Forms and a 4th Place in Black Belt Weapons.
- In addition, his students brought home 9 GOLD Medals, including the Pan-American Team fighting Championship, 10 SILVER Medals, and 4 BRONZE Medals at the same Pan-American Games representing the United States.
- Special 2001 Pan-American Recognition for his efforts as a member of the International Referrees Committee.
- In June 2001, named one of the TOP 200 SCHOOLS IN THE WORLD by Martial Arts Business Magazine!
- In 2000, Mr. Serrano and his students won 12 Gold Medals, 15 Silver, and 9 Bronze medals in International Competition outside the United States in the year 2000 alone representing the United States.
