1967 – 1980 - More than 250 U.S. National Champions

1981 - Inducted to the Official Legion of Honor together with Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris

1982: Official Hall of Fame inductee together with:

Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee, Ed Parker, Robert Trias, Bill Wallace, Joe Lewis, Peter Urban, Gary Alexander, and Jhoon Rhee
